bott strives for a long-term and cooperative partnership with selected suppliers. These are leaders in terms of technology, quality and logistics and offer competitive prices.
In addition, bott regards sustainability as one of the central issues of our time and incorporates corresponding considerations into its business decisions. In close cooperation with our suppliers, we want to ensure responsible action in the value chain. The basis for this is our Group-wide Code of Conduct for Suppliers. This sets out requirements for working conditions, human rights, environmental protection and safety as well as ethics and compliance.
The basis for successful cooperation is mutual trust and a clear set of rules that sets out binding principles for all partners.
This set of rules is reflected, among other things, in our terms and conditions of purchase.
These Terms and Conditions of Purchase are the foundation of the legal relationship between all suppliers and the Bott Group. Deviations require the written approval of bott. Here you have the opportunity to download our terms and conditions of purchase.
The high demands that the Bott Group places on its suppliers also include logistics requirements. These describe the requirements for incoming deliveries and packaging.
Our supplier manual must be observed during the development, design and planning of packaging and is a binding part of the order. Deviations from this require written approval from bott.
Incoming deliveries are checked by the bott logistics department for compliance with the packaging guidelines.
bott's procurement volume requirements range from smaller quantities for individual workplace projects to industry-specific high quantities for series-produced commercial vehicles. Our purchasing program is based on a central merchandise management system that is used for all locations, product areas and sources of supply of the here listed here. Our parts are assigned to material groups that reflect our entire purchasing potential and form a crucial basis for successful purchasing management. Our purchasing teams use proven analysis techniques to identify potential and necessary purchasing strategies and to formulate the targets to be achieved.
By regularly reviewing product groups, we ensure that the product range is continuously aligned with customer needs. By using innovative products and substitutes, we achieve continuous standardization of the product range to reduce overall procurement costs.
