bott UK officially recognised as a ‘Great Place to Work®’

We are delighted to announce that bott UK has officially been recognised as a Great Place to Work®! A significant achievement that reflects the experiences and feedback of our people. This accreditation is based entirely on employee responses, making it a particularly meaningful milestone for our business. It recognises the culture we have built together and reinforces our commitment to creating an environment where people feel valued, supported and empowered to succeed. Most importantly, it celebrates the people who make bott UK such a fantastic place to work every day.

Over the past six years, we have been on a deliberate journey to become a better employer. We listen, gather feedback, and act on what we learn to enhance the employee experience. This recognition reflects an approach that goes beyond workplace perks. It acknowledges our commitment to creating a culture where people feel included, treated fairly, and encouraged to contribute. Through regular surveys and open conversations, we have worked together to build a workplace where every voice matters.

A six-year journey of continuous improvement

Investing in the development of our people has been a key part of this journey. Through the bott Academy, extensive training opportunities, and a record number of apprenticeships, we have focused on helping employees build their skills and achieve their career goals. We have also strengthened our approach to leadership development, ensuring that growth and progression remain priorities across the business. By creating opportunities to learn, develop, and succeed, we continue to support our people at every stage of their careers.

Investing in growth and development

Alongside development opportunities, we have enhanced our employee offering to better support colleagues both inside and outside of work. This includes improvements to annual leave, parental leave provisions and a quarterly profit share. We have also strengthened how we recognise contribution, celebrating achievements through annual events such as our long service award dinners and our employee-nominated BoFTA awards. These initiatives help ensure that the dedication, commitment and achievements of our people are recognised throughout the year.

Recognising and rewarding contribution

Creating a connected, engaging and rewarding place to work has been just as important to us:

  • Bringing colleagues together across our four UK sites
  • Sharing company news openly and regularly
  • Running charity events and engagement initiatives
  • Rewarding advocacy through our Refer & Earn scheme
  • And of course, enjoying some great moments together with food trucks and our much-loved annual BBQs

Supporting a connected workforce

I couldn’t be prouder of this achievement.  This accreditation is a genuine reflection of the culture we’ve worked hard to build together - one where people feel valued, supported and able to grow.  Over the past six years, we’ve taken a very deliberate and holistic approach, listening to our teams and continually evolving everything from development opportunities and benefits, to how we connect, communicate and recognise contribution.  It’s incredibly rewarding to see that effort recognised through the voices of our people.  Thank you to everyone across bott UK who brings our culture to life every day - this is your success.

Tracey Barham, UK HR Director

This accreditation confirms that bott UK is on the right track in its ambition to be an employer of choice. The Great Place to Work® certification is a reflection of the people who bring bott UK to life through their dedication, teamwork and commitment. This achievement belongs to them, and everyone involved should feel incredibly proud of the role they have played in making bott UK the workplace it is today.

A shared achievement
