A coffee machine as the leitmotiv

Four of the six exhibited vehicles illustrate a coffee machine's development and production stages, which also happen to represent the four areas of expertise of the Bott Group. A Fiat Scudo has therefore been equipped with the kind of electronic laboratory appliances and workplaces that are used for prototype development. A Ford Transit Custom has been turned into an assembly line, including digital assistance and testing equipment. A Renault Trafic shows the synergy of workshop and van racking systems in the customer service area. The lineup's highlight is a Volkswagen Transporter that has been converted into a mobile coffee shop and serves high-quality hot drinks to the stand's visitors.

"This year, we have decided to think way outside the box of conventional vehicle equipment with our exhibits," says the CEO of the Bott Group and chairman of the Group Management Committee Jan Willem Jongert. "Many of our customers only associate us with vehicle conversions. Others, however, have used our workshop equipment, assembly workplaces or electronic laboratory equipment for years but are not aware of our van racking systems expertise. We want to bring these different facets together and illustrate the potential harboured by the combination of separate working environments. This makes it possible to utilise the available space more efficiently and to speed up time-consuming processes. The across-the-board compatibility of our product lines promotes this approach."

It's all down to the individual needs

In addition, the Bott Group will be presenting a drone technology supported monitoring and survey vehicle based on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter as well as a MAN TGE conversion equipped for tradespersons. The latter features the latest bott vario3 van racking system components, which include a new folding shelf that meets both the requirements of tradespersons as well as those of the courier, express and parcel delivery industry.

"Regardless of whether a customer produces coffee machines, installs escalators or services high-voltage power lines: each of these jobs poses different challenges, in equipment terms," explains Jongert. "Our trade show vehicles illustrate the diversity of the answers. The right solution does not have to be able to do everything, but precisely that which the respective customer needs – without any compromises."
